What is collected

Details you send. When you request an audit: your name, email, mobile number if you give one, website, trade, city and monthly ad spend.
Your Google Ads account, read only. If you share access for an audit, the account can be viewed and nothing in it can be changed.
Visits to this site. Pages viewed and buttons selected, counted in total. This site does not build a profile of you as an individual.

What it is used for

Preparing your audit and replying to you.
Managing your account, if you become a client.
Understanding which pages and ads bring enquiries, so the site can be improved.

Who it is shared with

Your name, email and form answers are never sold, rented or shared for anyone else's marketing. They pass only through the services needed to run this site and reply to you:

Formspree, which delivers the audit request form.
An email hosting provider, which holds the emails you exchange with True Up Search.
Plausible Analytics, which counts visits to this site without cookies and without collecting personal details.
Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, which record that an audit request was sent after a visitor arrived from an ad. They do not receive your form answers.

Some of these services store information outside Canada, including in the United States.

How long it is kept

If you request an audit and do not become a client, your details and your audit are deleted within 12 months, or sooner if you ask. Client records are kept for as long as the work continues and for the period the law requires afterwards.

Your choices

Ask to see, correct or delete what is held about you.
Remove read-only access to your Google Ads account at any time, from your own account settings.
Ask to stop receiving emails. Every email can be answered with that request.
